This customer requested that we mount a center medallion on this 8' dome with a 28" Overall Rise.  They also requested that we build a special gurney for an unique installation issue they had.

"Beam" Concept!
We can create simulated beams for our multi-piece domes. This picture is of one-half of our 12' Round Dome. Beams cover the inner seams (saving finish labor), and can be faux finished to match wood.

Using this concept, we can cast entire multi-piece domes in our GFRG Limestone Cast (includes actual limestone, porosity, 3 stunning limestone finish selections, durable matte finish sealer, and 8 simulated grout joints in light cove). See sample pictures.

Limited Height Option:
If you have height restrictions, we can also create elliptical Wall-to-Ceiling Cove that simulates a Round Recessed Ceiling Dome.  Often designed to go flush with your drywall, you would simply drywall the center, and perfatape the recessed edges.  You could also use an optional standard light cove around it. Here is an example of our elliptical cove in a 13' Diameter.  We only had approximately 13" of Overall Rise to work with.  We added a decorative light cove.  Can you tell it isn't an actual ceiling dome?
